Upubscience Publisher House employs a rigorous double-blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process. This policy ensures objective and unbiased evaluation of all submissions.

Submission

Author submits manuscript through OJS. Editorial office conducts initial screening for scope, formatting, and plagiarism.

Editor Assignment

The Editor-in-Chief assigns a handling editor based on the manuscript's subject area.

Reviewer Selection

The handling editor invites 2-3 qualified peer reviewers with expertise in the relevant field.

Double-Blind Review

Reviewers evaluate the manuscript without knowing the authors' identities. Authors do not know the reviewers' identities.

Editorial Decision

Based on reviewer recommendations, the editor makes a decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject.

Revision & Final Decision

Authors address reviewer comments. Revised manuscripts may undergo additional review before final acceptance.

Novelty of findings and contribution to the field.

Methodology

Appropriateness and rigor of research methods.

Clarity & Presentation

Quality of writing, logical structure.

Literature Context

Adequate engagement with existing research.

Data & Results

Accuracy and proper interpretation of findings.

Ethical Compliance

Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines.

Timelines

  • Initial screening: 2–3 days
  • Peer review: 7–14 days (average first decision: 7 days)
  • Author revision: 14–30 days
  • Final decision after revision: 3–7 days
  • Total from submission to acceptance: typically 4–8 weeks

Appeal Process

Authors who disagree with an editorial decision may submit a written appeal to the Editor-in-Chief within 30 days. Appeals must include a point-by-point response to reviewer comments and any additional evidence. The Editor-in-Chief may seek additional independent reviews. The decision on appeal is final.
