Comprehensive guidelines to prepare your manuscript for submission

Manuscript Preparation

Please ensure your manuscript meets the following requirements before submission. Properly formatted manuscripts help expedite the review process.

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be written in English
  • Use Microsoft Word format (.docx)
  • Double-spaced throughout
  • 12pt Times New Roman font
  • Continuous page numbers

Title Page

  • Full title of the manuscript
  • All author names and affiliations
  • Corresponding author email address
  • ORCID iD (recommended)

Abstract & Keywords

  • 150–300 word structured abstract
  • Include: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • 3–8 keywords below the abstract

Main Text Structure

  • Introduction
  • Literature Review
  • Methodology
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion

References & Citations

All references must be formatted consistently according to the following standards:

  • Use APA 7th Edition format for all references
  • In-text citations should follow the (Author, Year) format
  • Reference list must be alphabetically ordered by the first author's surname
  • DOI is encouraged for all references where available
  • A minimum of 15 references is recommended for research articles

Figures & Tables

All visual elements should meet the following quality and formatting standards:

  • Images must have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI
  • Accepted image formats: TIFF, PNG, JPEG
  • Tables must be created using the Word table function (do not submit images of tables)
  • All figures and tables must be cited in the text
  • Figure captions should appear below figures; table titles should appear above tables
  • Number all figures and tables sequentially (Figure 1, Figure 2, Table 1, Table 2, etc.)

Ethical Requirements

Authors must adhere to the highest standards of publication ethics. The following are required:

  • An originality declaration and plagiarism check using iThenticate or Turnitin
  • Informed consent and ethics committee approval for research involving human or animal subjects
  • A conflict of interest statement is required from all authors
  • Full disclosure of all funding sources and financial support
  • A data availability statement is encouraged
  • Adherence to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines
