Q1: What kind of articles do you publish?
A1: Upubscience Publisher will publish all types of new articles, research articles, case reports, mini-reviews, commentaries, hypotheses and software articles, etc.
Q2: Are there any publication charges for color images and number of pages in articles?
A2: No online color or article length associated charges are levied to the authors. Online color production is free of cost. Charges will be levied to the authors upon request for reprints.
Q3: Where can I find Publication Ethics of Journal?
A3: To know about Publication Ethics of the particular Journal, please go through the “Publication Ethics & OA Statement” section on the Journal Home Page.
Q4: Are the Article Processing Charges different for different types of articles?
A4: No, the Article Processing Charges will be same for all the types of articles. The size of an article is a poor indicator of the actual amount of work involved in obtaining peer reviews and in preparing the article for publication. So, we charge same amount for all the types of articles.
Q5: How do I pay the article processing charges to a Upubscience Publisher journal?
A5: You can make an article processing charges payment via Paypal, Bank Wire Transfer, credit card or your credits. Detailed payment instructions can be found on Upubscience Publisher Online System. You can also ask the editorial assistant for any problems.
Note:
1. If you make the Wired Transfer payment, please make sure that your Paper ID is filled in the "attached statement", otherwise we cannot tell who has remitted the money. After the Wired Transfer payment, your local bank will return a receipt to you after the remittance. Do NOT discard it.
2. If you make the Online Payment, please remember your order number or keep the screen capturing of payment if it is possible.
Q6: How do I find out if my article processing charges have been safely received by the Upubscience Publisher journal?
A6: Please notify and send your payment voucher via e-mail to the Editorial Assistant after your payment. The Editorial Assistant shall email you a confirmation letter after receiving the payment.
Q7: How are submissions peer-reviewed?
A4: All submissions are sent out for independent peer-review by experts in the respective scientific field. Focus on the quality of the scientific content, novelty of the study and technical accuracy of an article along with excellent presentation of the data remains the foremost priority for the assigned reviewers.
Q8: How long it will take for Review Process/ Publication of article?
A5: All the articles undergo through rapid review process for maximum of 30 days from the initial date of submission. The accepted articles will be published online within 15 days.
Q9: How do I find out if my article is suitable for a Upubscience Publisher journal?
A6: To make sure whether your article is suitable for the Upubscience Publisher journal, check out the website of the journal concerned, and then click on the "Aims & Scope" link to display the scope of the journal.
Q10: How do I submit an article for publication?
A7: All articles must be submitted through our Upubscience Publisher Online System, in which the paper status can easily be tracked. A new user should sign up firstly for submission. All figures and tables should be combined with the text as a single MS Word or PDF.
Q11: Should I use the template for submission?
A8: You are suggested to format your manuscript according to our standard template. However, if you do not know how to do it, please just prepare your article as required by the Manuscript Preparation, you can find instructions under For Authors. Articles should be submitted to us through Upubscience Publisher Online System in MS Word or PDF version.
Q12: What kind of file format do you accept?
A9: MS Word or PDF is the format for submitting your article to Upubscience Publisher Online System. After acceptance of your article, you can send your revised article in MS Word or LaTex through Upubscience Publisher Online System (recommended) or e-mail to us.
Q13: Is there a word or page limit for articles published in a Upubscience Publisher journal?
A10: Quality is the most important standard for the acceptance of an article. However, articles should be as concise as possible for the benefit of peer-reviewers and readers.
Q14: Can I publish a review or survey article with Upubscience Publisher?
A11: Yes, there are no restrictions on the kind of paper that may be published with Upubscience Publisher.
Q15: How do I know if my article submitted to Upubscience Publisher worked well?
A12: You will receive an automatic confirmation e-mail as soon as you have submitted the article successfully. Your article will then be checked and forwarded to the editors who will start the preliminary review. If there are any problems with your submitted article you will be contacted by the editors.
Q16: Where can I find a detailed description on manuscript guidelines for article submission? For example font size, title page requirements, etc. Also can the abstract be less than 300 words?
A13: All the details pertaining to the article submission is described in the respective journal’s For Authors’ webpage. The abstract should be around 100-300 words. If you have any further query, please contact through the respective e-mail provided in the Journal website.
Q17: What is a special issue?
A14: A special issue refers to the additional issue release other than the regular issue, containing collection of articles pertaining to a specific topic. The special issue is handled by one of the Editors or by Guest Editor with a specific and suitable title within the scope of the respective journal.
Q18: How can I contact the Journal Editorial Office?
A15: If you would like to contact a specific Journal directly, please use the email information provided in the particular Journal website.
Q19: What is Impact Factor? How is it calculated?
A16: The Impact Factor, often abbreviated as IF, is a measure defining the quantity of articles cited published by a Journal, therefore, reflecting the average number of citations of the articles published in science and social science journals. IF is calculated by dividing the number of citations in the Journal Citation Reports that particular year by the total number of articles published in the two previous years.
Q20: What is an Open Access?
A17: Open Access (OA) is the practice of providing unrestricted access to the peer-reviewed scholarly articles published in a scientific journal through the Internet. Our Open Access system is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License.
Q21: Who retains the copyright?
A18: Authors retain the sole copyright of their work under the terms outlined by the Creative Commons licenses while allowing others to copy, distribute, and use the work in a non-commercial way. The user of the information should acknowledge the author of the original work.
