RESEARCH PROGRESS OF CAPROLACTAM INTERMEDIATE HYDROXYLAMINE PRODUCTION METHODS

ABSTRACT
This paper mainly discusses the production process of hydroxylamine, a caprolactam intermediate, including three traditional processes, namely, Rasching synthesis, nitric oxide-catalyzed reduction, and hydroxylamine phosphate, as well as the modern green process of hydroxylamine production by H2O2-catalyzed oxidation, and hydroxylamine hydrolysis from cyclohexanone oxime. This work compares the advantages and disadvantages of the three traditional hydroxylamines and provides design ideas for the modern green chemical production of hydroxylamines, with a special focus on the one-step ammonia oxidation process based on H2O2-catalyzed oxidation by Fuijan Eversun Technology Co., Ltd. This work provides an important reference for the subsequent engineers of the production of hydroxylamine and caprolactam green transformation process transformation.
