ABSTRACT
This paper tries to take the sociocultural theory as the perspective and the TPRS teaching method as the research object, to explain and analyze the role of TPRS in promoting the positive motivation of Chinese language learners, to explore the development prospects, and to put forward suggestions for improvement.
