ABSTRACT

The document evaluates both traditional firewalls and next-generation firewalls (NGFWs), highlighting NGFWs' advanced capabilities, such as application awareness, intrusion prevention, deep packet inspection, and real-time threat intelligence. It also provides an in-depth comparison between specific products, such as Check Point and Palo Alto NGFWs, based on their performance, deployment options, and cost.
